Tips For Perfect Little Cookie Peanut Butter Bites
Little Cookie Peanut Butter Bites are a scrumptious treat that everyone is sure to love. Here are some tips to help you make the perfect little bites:
- Use a mini muffin tin: Using a mini muffin tin will help give your peanut butter cookie cups the perfect tiny shape. Make sure to generously grease the muffin tin to prevent the cookie cups from sticking.
- Make the dough ahead of time: cookie dough can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. This will save you time on the day you plan to bake your cookie cups and also helps the dough to firm up, making it easier to work with.
- Use a cookie scoop: A cookie scoop will help you evenly portion out the dough and make it easier to press into the muffin tin. This will also help ensure that all your cookie cups are the same size.
- Don’t overbake: It’s important not to overbake your peanut butter cookie cups, as they can become dry and crumbly. Keep a close eye on them and remove them from the oven as soon as they start to turn golden brown around the edges.
- Add toppings: Once your peanut butter cookie cups are baked and cooled, you can add toppings such as chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or a drizzle of melted chocolate to take them to the next level.
By following these tips, you’ll be able to make perfect peanut butter cookie cup bites that are sure to impress your friends and family. Happy baking!
Changing it Up
If you’re hankering for a mini peanut butter cookie fix, but want to mix things up, I’ve got some ideas for you! For a healthier twist, switch out peanut butter for almond or cashew butter, or throw in some almond or coconut flour for a gluten-free treat. You can also drizzle some melted chocolate or caramel on top, or have fun with sprinkles, chopped nuts, or mini chocolate chips. Or try sandwiching two cookies together with a layer of jam, Nutella, or cream cheese frosting. Just have fun with it!
